As part of statutory environmental review, NESREA officials visited Solwood’s facility on 14th April 2026 to conduct an environmental compliance inspection, examining pollution control measures, waste management processes, and alignment with statutory environmental requirements.

During the inspection, NESREA officials reviewed key operational and environmental management areas, including:
- Environmental Compliance and Waste Handling
An assessment of waste segregation, storage, handling, and disposal processes was conducted to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and best environmental practices. - Air, Noise, and Effluent Discharge Controls
The inspection included a detailed review of systems and controls in place to manage air emissions, noise levels, and effluent discharge, with attention to monitoring records and compliance thresholds. - Operational Safeguards and Preventive Measures
Environmental safety procedures and preventive measures were evaluated to understand how potential environmental impacts are identified, managed, and mitigated.

Environmental stewardship at Solwood is addressed through defined practices covering resource use, pollution prevention, and compliance management. These practices are supported by routine monitoring activities, workforce training, and continuous operational improvements.
Solwood will continue to build on these foundations to support sustainable operations and long‑term environmental protection.
